Cryogenic G10 (Mil-i-24768/2 spec) is an electrical and
mechanical grade glass cloth laminate impregnated and cured
with a non-brominated epoxy resin. G10 CR has been
tested in accordance with NIST G10CR process specification
for materials used in cryogenic applications. G10 CR
Material is RoHS Compliant per Directive 2002/95/EC.
G10 exhibits exceptional dimensional stability and does not
shrink.
Cryogenic G10 has seen use in many fields recently.
Alternative energy use, the aerospace industry and in
medical facilities just to name a few. The material
itself is for use in applications where flame retardency
isn't an issue, but cold temperatures may be. Ideally,
it is used in sub zero temperatures such as in satellites.
